In 2021, YKER staff decided to the support Sydney Dingo Rescue through donations and volunteering. "Sydney Dingo Rescue are a New South Wales based charity and foster care network. As well as working to assist captive born dingoes (ex-pets) to find new homes, Sydney Dingo Rescue also exists to advocate for, and assist wild-born dingoes who are unfairly targeted, and killed in their thousands by the Australian Government." FIRST Robotics

In 2017 and 2018, YKER volunteered as a judge at the FIRST Robotics Competition Southern Cross Regional in Sydney, Australia.
